Everything is made in small batches by Marie. Pre-order by Thursday at 10am and pick up the following Sunday from the driveway cart.

The driveway drop
Our cart sits out in the driveway with whatever is baked that morning. It runs on the honor system. Take what you want and pay with cash or Venmo. The cart is out from 8am until everything sells out.
Pre-orders
Pre-orders must be submitted by Thursday at 10am to be ready for pickup the following Sunday. Pre-orders can be picked up between 8am and 12pm on Sundays, and are paid for at the cart.

Sunday, September 6
The cart goes out Sunday mornings at 8am and stays out until it sells out. Pre-order pickup runs 8am to 12pm. If today is Sunday, come on by.

Hi, I'm Marie, owner and founder of Sunday Mornings Bakery!
Since I was little, I would watch my mom spend most of her free time in the kitchen, dreaming up some of the most delicious creations. That creativity and passion ingrained a love for the kitchen in me well into adulthood. But baking was not always something I considered a specialty until I got serious about creating the best chocolate chip cookie, which, by the way, took 5 years of trial and error.
Somewhere along my journey, I also stopped buying more highly processed baked goods at the store and learned to make my own, filling a recipe book that I planned to pass down to my son so he can learn to love the kitchen as much as I do.
Since moving into our home in Maple Valley a few years ago, I have been spending more time perfecting all of these recipes, not just because we upgraded to a bigger kitchen but because the demand from friends and family blew up. And after noticing the lack of local bakeries in Maple Valley and the surrounding areas, I knew that building something for the community was my next step. So Sunday Mornings Bakery was born.
Everything I make is small batch and done by hand. My breads and cookies go through a slow overnight ferment because it really does enhance the flavor, and you'll only ever find natural ingredients in all of my products.
Sunday Mornings Bakery is my way of providing our community with real food. I want to be a part of as many Sunday morning breakfast tables as I can. The kind where everyone's still in their pjs, laughing, taking their time instead of rushing into the day.
